visiting post-pandemic london.

it’s been a minute since i’ve been to london - to be precise 2.5 years. a lot of things have changed, the world has gone through a pandemic, a lot of people are feeling uncomfortable in big crowds, some countries are more strict with their measures than others.

all of that definitely made me worry a lot before travelling back to one of my favourite cities in the world. i wondered how many more high-rises they were since i last visited in december 2019, how comfortable i would feel not having to wear a mask in supermarkets and such, and my overall feeling in a city that i knew so well but at the same time scared me more than ever due to the side effects of various lockdowns, weird encounters in my hometown, and generally being more cautious than in my early twenties.

so this is post-pandemic london.

my first time flying to heathrow and this view made me tear up.

of course i had to re-visit my favourite storefront in london

a beautiful sunset in south london.

and the same view at night time.

went to the barbican as well and took this photo.

… and got a chance to catch up with two of my closest friends who are also incredible photographers. i’ll link their instagrams under their names.

jess.

leaving london into a sunset and moon rise

and here’s what i’m listening to in order to create stronger memories. give it a listen, give it a follow.

thanks for reading along.

speak soon,
